The Mi-24 is a large combat helicopter, attack helicopter, and small-capacity transport helicopter designed for eight passengers. It is manufactured at the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and entered service with the USSR Air Force in 1972. The helicopter is currently in service in 58 countries around the world.
