Ultimate HD Interface (PPSSPP) for GTA Liberty City Stories
Are you looking for a version of GTA Liberty City Stories HD HUD for PPSSPP that is as close to the original version of the game as possible and has other improvements over other projects? Then I present you my project called "Ultimate HD Interface". I used the HD Interface project as a base for this project because most of the icons remained the same as in the original. The changes touched some of the lettering icons that appear on the radar, I looked for fonts that were closest to the originals and redesigned their lettering so that they were standardized with the rest of the fonts used in the game. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any fonts that matched the 8 Ball icon, so I just corrected its lettering. There were also corrections to the game map, both in the radar and pause menus. The life bar, vest, radar ring, and player icon on the radar were all made from scratch. For the lettering font I used the 4K Fonts project. Since the original project only had an alternate version with shadows, I made an outline version to bring it closer to the original game. I used 10 pixels for the outline at the top and left, and 20 pixels at the bottom and right of the font. The main characters in the font have also been changed to improve the spacing between each one. Other minor improvements have been made to the text files. I hope you like the result.
Update 1.1
A second version of the HUD was made for those using the WidescreenFix plugin, correcting the size and position of the health bars, armor bars and weapon icons.
Update 2.2
In this version, I decided to extract all the textures that have more resolution from the PS2 version of the LCS to add to this project, and recreate more complex textures that are used for distant objects, thus giving the impression that the game has increased the rendering distance. (work in progress)
MAJOR CHANGES:
- Hashes were changed from xxh32 to xxh64;
- Low-resolution textures used for remote objects replaced with high-resolution textures or redone manually;
- The entire horizon seen from the first to the second city in the game is already ready;
- Added improvements made in the other project (GTA VCS Ultimate HD Interface) such as vehicle and pedestrian shadows, particles, etc.
Update 2.3
I remade all the textures created for distant objects that were present in version 2.2 so that they are as close as possible to the high-resolution version. Remembering that the biggest differences are on the first island of the game.
MAJOR CHANGES:
- 47 Low-resolution textures used for remote objects remade in high-resolution (work in progress);
- 112 textures taken directly from the PS2 version of the game (work in progress);
- Image tutorial added to help those who were having difficulty installing.
