PS2 Features To Mobile
This mod revives all the original PS2 features that were lost during the port of GTA SA to Mobile. The mod aims to recreate everything possible and is currently in a very complete phase.
Restored Features:
Gameplay
- Original PS2 brightness and saturation system (warmer and more cinematic colors).
- Cinematic camera.
- Reactivated volumetric fog system (the real PS2 horizon fog).
- Water reflection effects and authentic PS2 water ripples.
- Softer car lights and headlights, like on the console.
- Smooth transitions between areas (no harsh light cuts).
- Original flat shadow under CJ and vehicles.
Graphics and Effects
- PS2-style projected shadows (softer, not flat).
- Restored particle effects: dust, fire, smoke, water, and explosions.
- Restored post-effects: HeatHaze, Speed FX, bloom, grain, and UnderWaterRipple.
- Original weather system: dense fog, more realistic rain, and corrected sky colors.
- PS2 contrast.
- Ambient brightness adapted to the map (not overexposed like on mobile).
- Real dynamic skies, with tones and gradients identical to the console version.
- Optimized LOD models (no ugly Android popping).
- Original PS2 grass.
- Absolutely all PS2 textures were restored.
- Smoke in the club and Jizzy’s club restored.
- Effects in Jizzy’s bar restored.
- Animated textures restored.
- Remaining zeros in the money counter restored.
- PS2-style character shading restored.
Characters
- CJ and other characters now have fixed facial expressions and original postures.
- Clothes with PS2-quality textures (not badly compressed).
- NPCs have more spawn locations.
Vehicles
- All vehicles were exported from the PS2 version.
- Rear lights with realistic glow.
- Recreated PS2 reflections.
- Original tires and rims from the console version.
- Shadowed silhouettes under cars.
Sound
- All songs removed due to licensing issues in the radio stations have been restored.
HUD
- PS2 radar icons.
- PS2 weapon icons.
- PS2 HUD colors.
Warnings:
- May cause slight lag on low-end devices.
- Do not reupload this mod without credits!
- If you modify it, tell the truth: this was born from the PS2 version.
Installation:
- Installation is simple, just move the folder to your game's data.
- The extracted file contains the necessary apk to play the mod. The first apk, "GTASA 2.00 AML1.3.0 FLA7.6," works correctly if you have Android 10 or lower.
- The second apk, "GTASA 2.00 AML1.3.0 FLA7.6 Unprot," creates a folder called "Android Unprotected" in the root of your phone, where the obb and data folders will be. Just move the indicated files to those folders.
