Story Weapon Fix mod is a ported mod from the upcoming project "San Andreas Recall" also known as "Recall San Andreas" which fixes an important plot shortcoming. Ever wondered what happened to all those gats you jacked with Ryder? Where they went and what became their fate?
Well wonder no more, because Story Weapon Fix mod will fix that for you. Strangely after completing Ryder missions which heavily lies around jacking guns, the game does not reward the player with the taken items. You only receive respect (and not even money) and no weapons in any ways. This script aims to fix this story bug and bummer by giving the player a piece of the action! Now after completing each Ryder mission you and your homie(s) will receive some of the stolen guns as pickups.
You will be notified with a popup text box informing you of your new assets after completing each mission.
Note: This script uses some of the original flower weapon slots to create the pickups, therefore you lose some of the many flower pickups. The script does not use the 7 leftover weapon pickup slots, so it will not intervene with other mods that have used those slots.
What weapon do we get?
The new pickups have been scripted in a way that makes sense with the mission, unused beta content and the storyline.
- Home Invasion: You and Ryder will both receive an MP5. Ryder's strap has twice ammo.
Originally in Recall San Andreas this is implemented with the use of restored Beta weapons such as the Uzi (for CJ) and M16 (for Ryder). - Catalyst: Ryders receives an M4 and some Grenades, and sends over a piece of AK-47 to Sweet.
Originally in Recall San Andreas this is implemented with the use of restored Beta weapons such as the MP5K (for Ryder) since there are mp5k boxes to be seen in the mission and some Grenades since we are stealing explosive boxes as well. Sweet will also receive the beta buttless AK-47. - Robbing Uncle Sam: Ryder and Sweet will receive a rocket launcher and a micro uzi.
The micro uzi here is a reminisce of the beta Mac10 seen on one of the game's load screens with Sweet holding a Mac10 and Ryder will receive a rocket launcher since apparently Eazy-E (who Ryder is based on) had all sorts of guns including explosives and heavy arms in real life.
Originally in Recall San Andreas this is implemented with the use the restored Beta weapons such as the M60 and the MAC10. Ryder gets an M60 and Sweet will find his infamous MAC10 in this mission. In both versions, you will receive very little ammo of the last weapon at Ryder's, since turns out you only steal the last weapon (RLauncher — M60) alone, without the ammo, as well as to prevent the game from becoming too easy.

- Updated the Robbing Uncle Sam's text box's context & timing to show a bit later to prevent colliding with other text boxes
